Flickering Dashboard Lights - Toyota Fortuner 2017

The dashboard lights in my 2010 Prado are flickering, especially when I use the turn signal. The headlights also dim slightly at idle. Battery is new. Any ideas?

ISSUE SOLVED: It was a loose and glazed alternator belt! Tightened it up and the flickering is gone. Thanks, guys! Simple fix.

Classic symptom of a failing alternator. The voltage regulator is probably on its way out, causing inconsistent voltage. Get your alternator's output tested at any parts shop. Should be a steady 13.5-14.5V.

@qatmech, before you replace the alternator, check the alternator belt tension and also clean the battery terminals and the main ground connection. A poor ground can cause the exact same flickering. It's a free, 5-minute check!
